I completed my Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology from Black Hills State University, my Master of Education in Counseling and Personnel Service from South Dakota State University, then my second Master of Science in Counseling and Human Resource Development degree from South Dakota State University and most recently my Educational Specialist Degree in Education Administration. I believe that speaks to my love of educational learning and continued commitment to professional excellence.

I grew up on my family’s centennial ranch then moved to the Black Hills to attend college. I began my career in South Dakota and both loved and appreciated this opportunity.  My philosophy is very child centered and I posse the courage to do what is best for children. I have a passion for working with youth and enjoy the field of education. I am looking forward to getting to know the students and families in this community and designing a comprehensive school counselor program for Hulett High School.
